Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Irap has a solitary primary star.
- It is an orange main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x9 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Irap is a Small World between 900km and 2,400km in diameter. The world has very low gravity between 0.05G and 0.09G. The horizon will appear about 2km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Irap has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Irap has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Irap lies on the Rhamsteppe-Mongrebi Main, an important trade route. It is a member of the region known as The Access, the long spine of the Main.
It is a part of the Darmine Cultural Region, created within rimward Zarushagar Sector by order of Emperor Artemsus in the years immediately following the Ilelish Pacification Campaign.
It has the distinction of being one of the most densely populated worlds in Charted Space.
- It has a surface area of approximately 2 million km², and a population density of about 35,000 individuals per km².
World Starport (St)[edit]
Irap has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
Irap has a population of 70,000,000,000 sophonts (tens of billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
- About 60% of the population (approximately 40 billion individuals) is made up of baseline humans and other non-human sophonts.
- Around 40% of the population (roughly 30 billion individuals) is composed of Darmine.
Urbanization[edit]
Irap (Megastructure) Arcologies & Ecumenopolis: centuries ago the Irappi covered their world and began building upward.
- Today 70 billion people live in massive arcologies stretching tens of kilometers above the ground.
- Individual cities are no longer distinguishable, having since merged into a single planetary megapolis]], or an ecumenopolis.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most commonly heard languages are:
- Anglic, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
- Kadli, the principal language of the Darmine.
- Vilani, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.

Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
