Gallego has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

The Gallego downport is largely run by automation, with a skeleton staff of off-world administration, skilled mechanics, and maintenance workers.

World Culture

Much like Cadiz, we were met just past the outer downport portal by a heavily-armed group of about 50 citizens. Some of them wore reflect and carried laser carbines. They were more or less formally dressed in Church sanctioned attire, clearly identifying their status and occupations (see attached VR/AR). We were clearly told that we and our kind were not welcome and not wanted, and that "God would put paid to us for our sins" and to (again) "be off".

By observation, it is apparently that this colony has basic fusion power and at least a secured colony network.

Urbanization

Most structures seemed to be type II and type III Orient domes with standard interconnections.
