Subsector C of Dark Nebula Sector.
Ruih Subsector is a backwater with little to no high technology, high-profit trade, large populations, or other desirable characteristics to draw attention to it.
- It is the border of the Solomani Confederation leading into Aslan wilds.
- Still, worlds like Murphy are beginning to change this equation as development occurs.
Description / Specifications[edit]
The Confederation has struggled greatly to assimilate its new acquisitions in Ruih, and tellingly hasn't yet established any military bases in the subsector.
The Third Imperium maintains two small embassies at Aowoiktes and Elahkilr, both capital worlds of non-Hierate Aslan clans.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Ruih, subsector C of Dark Nebula, contains 31 worlds with an estimated combined population of 30 billion, a per capita income of Cr1,598, and a total economy of BCr48,713. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr15 through 21 starports (5 Class A, 4 Class B, 10 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 2,980 people. Driving this interstellar trade are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Ruih maintain four Military bases and three Naval bases. The average technology level is 6 (with most between 3 and 9). The highest technology level is 11 at Yeyofui' (Dark Nebula 1708).
Ruih, subsector C of Dark Nebula, contains 49 stars and 344 identified planets; 13 monostellar systems, 18 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 27 of the 31 systems (87%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, six Poor (Po) worlds, six Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Ruih has an estimated population of 30 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, ten Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 11 Low population (Lo) worlds, and two Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Murphy (Dark Nebula 1902). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups.

Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The average technology level is 5 (with most between 2 and 8). The highest technology level is 9 at Carn Gafall (Dark Nebula 2408).
The Solomani Confederation has an estimated population of 94 million within the subsector, distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, four Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Rindnoir (Dark Nebula 2201) and Meskok (Dark Nebula 2308). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
