Cengmang is a poor, nonindustrial world.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- This world has few prospects for economic development.
- It is a member of the Solomani Confederation in the Ruih Subsector of Dark Nebula Sector.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]
This TL-1 world was incorporated into the Solomani Confederation as part of the post-Solomani Rim War annexation of the Akuusir Cluster.
Cengmang's Human population was formerly ruled by the non-Hierate Hlawya clan of Aslan. The Confederation has interdicted the mainworld and planetfall is forbidden.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Cengmang does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
World Population (P)[edit]
Cengmang has a population of 4,000,000 sophonts (millions).
- This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
World Demographics[edit]
World Languages[edit]
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Cengmang possesses a Technology Level of TL–1.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Runners or beast relay and long distance signaling such as the heliograph and semaphore.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Muscle power and water wheels.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Riding animals, rickshaws, carts or other creature-drawn wheeled vehicles.
- Water: Rowed galleys and early sailing vessels.

World Government (G)[edit]
Cengmang is governed by a Representative Democracy where government leadership is by representatives elected by eligible voters. What determines an eligible voter varies. The representatives determine policy, including selecting members of the bureaucracy. There can be referenda, votes by eligible voters on specific subjects.
The voting population is divided among nine city-states, each anchoring agricultural provinces.
World Law (L)[edit]
Cengmang has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms except shotguns, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
