Fudaochoyrn is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and nonindustrial in nature.

  • These worldlets warrant hazardous environment precautions.
  • Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
  • The worldlets require extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
  • This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or over technology standards for Charted Space.
  • It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Dashinshaii Subsector of Gushemege Sector in the Domain of Vland.
  • This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.
  • It is a member of the Gushemege Main.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

Fudaochroyrn is a binary star system.

  • The primary is an orange main sequence.
  • The secondary is a red main sequence.

System Data[edit]

The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:

Mainworld Data[edit]

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Fudaochoyrn is an Asteroid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

None of the bodies within the Fudaochoyrn belt retain an atmosphere.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

The Fudaochoyrn belt contains a few icy bodies. A few belt objects have frozen volatiles on their surfaces.

  • Wilderness refueling is possible within the belt, provided a suitable icy object can be found.
  • Water for the inhabitants is generally imported and is extensively recycled.

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

No centrally held chart of the belt exists within AAB Library Data records.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Comp-Prog-Dav-R-Deitrick-Starter-Trav-Page-16 16-July-2018a.jpg

During the Long Night Fudaochoyrn was controlled by Trill, which maintained a large-scale mining operation within the belt. The world became a core member of the Plutand Economic Union when that polity formed in -1309 and was eventually absorbed by the expanding Third Imperium during the first century.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Fudaochoyrn has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Population (P)[edit]

Fudaochoyrn has a population of 40,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).

  • This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.

World Languages[edit]

The following languages are most commonly heard:

World Technology Level (T)[edit]

Fudaochoyrn possesses a Technology Level of TL–15 or TL-F in Hexadecimal Notation.

There may be smaller councils or regional bodies to write the policies voted on. Leadership of the government and all members of the bureaucracy are determined by voting population.

Fudaochoyrn has no law in practice. It is an Anarchy. On many worlds, this by itself justifies an Amber Zone advisory. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate.
