Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Craw is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Craw has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. While a Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- It experiences generally moderate temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Craw has 25-35% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants will be recycled.

Craw is a medium sized world with a roughly earthlike gravity and a standard density, oxygen poor atmosphere. The planet is hot and arid, with a narrow habitable zone circling a small polar sea; beyond that zone lies a variety of unpleasant terrain, including desert, badlands, and other uninviting real estate that humans will find less than accommodating.
The atmospheric taint is from radioactive dust blown out of several of the large deserts. The source of the radiation is theorized to have come from a series of nuclear explosions, though no precise studies of the cause has ever been undertaken.
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
Native Sophont[edit]
Craw is the homeworld of the Crawni, a sophont minor race. They are smaller than humans and have a generally humanoid shape, with thick leathery hides, large eyes, a short tail, and a high radiation tolerance.

Craw has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

The representatives determine policy, including selecting members of the bureaucracy. There can be referenda, votes by eligible voters on specific subjects.

Craw has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Personal concealable firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
