Belt-9 is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and is also a low-population vacuum environment with a population less than 10,000 sophonts in population size, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- This a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or over technology standards for Charted Space.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Gazulin Subsector of Trojan Reach Sector in the Domain of Deneb.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]
A low population asteroid world located in the Gazulin Subsector of the Trojan Reach Sector.
- Belt-9 is one of eleven asteroid belt systems in and around the Imperium owned by Sternmetal Horizons.
- It is operated almost entirely by robot mining vehicles, with few humans engaged in supervision and repairs.
Imperial High / Landed Nobility[edit]
Belt-9, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.
World Starport[edit]
Belt-9 has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Technology Level[edit]
Belt-9 possesses a Technology Level of TL–14 or TL-E in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Early meson communicators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, early collectors, and advanced fusion plants.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-5.
World Government[edit]
Belt-9 is governed by a Corporate Polity with a single corporation with a typical corporate structure as a government. A company town, or world. The typical corporate run world usually has a single purpose. Examples include mining, agriculture, or other kinds of resource extraction. But rather than a simple base of operations, there are facilities for housing workers and their families including hospitals, schools, and other infrastructure. How, or if, the children of the workers are incorporated into the workforce varies with companies. The corporation running the world may be a subsidiary of a larger interstellar corporation.
