The Sycamore Arm is a named region of the Seguranca Cluster, a cluster and major trade route lying within the central-spinward part of Neworld Sector. It forms the coreward-trailing part of the Cluster.

• It is named for Sycamore, a techologically advanced high population world.

High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the worlds of the Arm carrying huge amounts of goods and commodities to its varied markets. Jump-2 and Jump-3 feeder routes work their ways around the rifts and voids that dot the region, linking the Trace to outlying worlds.

Solomani Security keeps a close eye on activities and events within the Worlds to ensure the security of the Confederation and the well-being of its loyal citizens. Almost anyone could be a SolSec informant, passing on all sorts of useful information: some gain a reward or benefit for their actions, others are coerced, but many see it as an act of duty to help protect the Solomani state and its interests.
