Trokken is a poor, barren world with no overt population, government, or law level.
- This world could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
- It is a member of the Dienabach Grüpen in the Bautzen Subsector of Neworld Sector.
- This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Trokken has a solitary primary star.
- It is a red main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x7 secondary rocky worlds.
- x3 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Trokken is tidally locked to its primary star.
- The star is always high in the sky on the bright face, it hangs on horizon in the twilight zone, while the cold dark face is in permanent darkness.
- The world experiences libration - a regular wobble - as it orbits, causing the star to move in the sky.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Trokken is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Trokken has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Trokken has 15-25% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice. There may be a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are Hell Worlds or Poor Worlds depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Trokken is an unpopulated world, held in reserve for the needs of the Dienabach Grüpen.
Solomani Security keeps as close an eye as it can on things to ensure the security of the Confederation and the well-being of its loyal citizens.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Trokken has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
Trokken is a Barren World with no sophont population. It may still possess lifeforms.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Trokken possesses a Tech Level of TL–0.
- The world has no technological base.
World Government (G)[edit]
Trokken has no government or ruling authority of any kind.
World Law (L)[edit]
Trokken has no law level. No laws of any kind are enforced.
