The Stenardee Cluster is a small cluster lying in the spinward-rimward part of Massilia Sector. It is a minor (though important) local trade route.

• It has 6 member worlds and includes Lagna, the capital of the subsector.

Named for the Stenardee system, the Cluster is part of the Geonee Core. It was explored by the Geonee soon after they acquired jump technology.

The region is also known as the Lagna Cluster, a name with Imperial origins. Imperial authorities often deliberately use the name Lagna over the Geonee-preferred Stenardee.

High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Cluster, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.

Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) are found within this Cluster:

  • Geonee (Minor Human Race): the majority demographic across the Cluster. There are many significant population centers.
  • Mixed heritage (Major Race): a few, spread relatively thinly across the Cluster.
  • Solomani (Major Race): a few genetically distinct individuals and communities.
  • Vilani (Major Race): a few genetically distinct individuals and communities.

• Non-Humans
  • Chirpers (Minor Race): where there are (married) Geonee, there are Chirpers.
  • Llyrnians (Minor Race): troglodytic, naturally armored trilateral sophonts usually in the employ of Geonee interests.

Linguistic Topography

The most commonly heard languages are:

• Irkonee, the primary language of the Geonee.
  • Genosha, a specialized form of Irkonee with many loan words from Oynprith.
• Oynprith, a ceremonial and ritualistic language apparently universal among Chirper communities.

Other occasionally heard languages include:

• Anglic, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
• Native Llyrnian languages.
• Vilani, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
