History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Part of the Geonee Core.
In -190 a collection of Geonee representatives met at Prindee and declared the Second Geonee Confederation. This government was born as an agreement between the dominant classes of the three Geonee worlds to survive the Long Night: the high-ranking bureaucrats of Hiponee, the industrialist backers of Lagna's dictatorship, and the Meeralo Council of Shiwonee.
A few decades later, a bloody civil war at Hiponee ended with the use of nuclear weapons, nearly wiping out the population. The Confederation made the radical decision to deport all survivors to the inhospitable world of Dreva, subsequently reserving once-heavenly Hiponee for the nobility.
Integrating the Geonee into the Imperium proved difficult. In 120, a major anti-Imperial insurrection ended with the establishment of a naval base at Hiponee.
World Starport[edit]
Hiponee has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Technology Level[edit]
Hiponee possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.

World Government[edit]
Hiponee is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.
Demographics[edit]
7,000 Geonee.
Languages[edit]
Urbanization[edit]
Architecture is Geonee-style.
- Family housing is traditionally designed to be two separate wings, joined by a central courtyard.
- The front part of the house, the "public home", is the abode of a male and any unmarried sons or male relatives. This is where visitors are received and males rest and relax.
- The rear is the "private home", where the females live. The only males permitted in this part of the house are the husband -- as all the women are under his protection -- and immediate male relatives.
- The courtyard is frequented equally by both men and women of the family. A secluded section of the courtyard is kept aside for the home of the selweeda – the Chirper (cerosee) that serves as a symbol of the legitimacy of the patriarch's marriage.
World Culture[edit]
Geonee have a cultural taboo against being seen with a bare head, or showing excessive bare skin. In public, males wear long sleeves and trousers, showing only face, ears, and hands. Females are expected to be completely covered in public, with only eyes and hands exposed.
Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]
Hiponee, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.
