• -2390: The founders of the Mercantile Concord leave Terra.
  • They settle in trailing Crucis Margin about -2380, establishing their first small colony on Shan.
• (-1776 to 0): The Long Night.
  • The Gold Union forms at some unknown point on the Crucis Margin-Numbis border. It will in time apparently become the Amalgamation Union.
• The Year 0: To spinward, the Third Imperium is founded.
• 280: The Katowice Conquest is established on Katowice when a group of ambitious naval commanders from the Old Worlds navy break away.
• 300-420: The Imperial First Survey.
  • Some ships of the Survey go missing in the region. Fragmentary reports suggest that the Amalgamation ("Gold") Union is destabilizing.
• 995 to 1065: The Imperial Second Survey.
  • There is no sign of the Amalgamation Union, aside from common architectural themes in old capital buildings and monuments.
• 1070: A political realignment among K'kree Bosses sees the Devi Intelligence made a subject race of the Two Thousand Worlds.
