The Ilelish trail is a prosperous region dominated by Kaas, a high population industrial world that is also the capital of Mizar Subsector. Despite the presence of the capital, the Trail has always been overshadowed by the larger Liasdi Main to coreward.

The Trail was relatively heavily settled by Vilani during the Ziru Sirka and retained a strong Vilani culture during the Rule of Man and the Long Night. It was never a part of Darmine Space, though the Darmine are known to have been exploring the region prior to the establishment of the Ziru Sirka. Even in the modern age the Trail has a distinctly Vilani feel to it.

Within Ilelish Sector, the Trail is sometimes referred to as the Rotaco Cluster.

High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Trail, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
