Quippa has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

Quippa has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.

History & Background (Dossier)

Quippa is a member of the Ilelish Trail, a cluster and trade route lying on the coreward edge of the Great Rift. The Trail crosses the border between Ilelish Sector and Zarushagar Sector. Despite containing Kaas, the capital of Mizar Subsector, the Trail has always been overshadowed by the larger Liasdi Main to coreward.

It was once known as Wa'yurleaha and had a small population of Imperial Aslan. They are no longer present on the world.

World Starport (St)

Quippa has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Population (P)

Quippa has a population of 50,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).

• This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
