Mille Falcs is a Big World between 13,600km and 15,200km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 1G and 1.3G. The horizon will appear about 5.4km away. Vessels with only 1G of thrust should avoid landing on this world.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Mille Falcs has an Exotic Atmosphere and possesses an unusual gas mix which requires the use of oxygen tanks. Additionally, protective suits, while not necessary, are recommended. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

Mille Falcs has 15-25% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice heavily tainted with other substances, which makes it dangerous, corrosive, or toxic. Wilderness refueling will be difficult. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds may be Hell Worlds.

  • The water on the surface may be unsuitable for use or consumption without extensive filtering and purification.
  • Refining for fuel may cause issues with shipboard purification plants.

Mille Falcs is one of only two Imperial systems in the subsector and is administered out of Glisten.

Mille Falcs is under military rule and has both a scout and a naval base. The latter houses a small force of older patrol vessels and escorts, backed up by a couple of old destroyers — officially a detachment of the Glisten force but operated independently.

Mille Falcs and Mertactor (Spinward Marches 1537) are used as a regional base for those Imperial firms trading into District 268.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Mille Falcs has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
