Gaval, subsector H of Zhdant, contains 46 worlds with an estimated combined population of 68 billion, a per capita income of Cr8,902, and a total economy of BCr613,370. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr7,565 through 41 starports (10 Class A, 9 Class B, 17 Class C, 5 Class D) employing 1,103,040 people. Driving this interstellar trade are nine Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, four Rich (Ri) worlds, and three Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Gaval maintain 11 Naval bases, 11 Military bases, and two Naval depots. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Zhdant (Zhdant 2719).

Gaval, subsector H of Zhdant, contains 65 stars; 29 monostellar systems, 15 binary systems, two trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 38 of the 46 systems (82%) have native gas giants. There are three Asteroid (As) belts, six Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, eight Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Gaval has an estimated population of 68 billion distributed across six High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 30 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, eight Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Etlifevro (Zhdant 2718) and Floeflianse (Zhdant 2914). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups.
