Aleutia Run
The Aleutia Run is a small cluster lying within the rimward-trailing quadrant of Canopus Sector.
- It is an astrographic feature and a minor trade route.
- It lies within a region of Balkanized Space.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Aleutia Run is a small cluster lying in the rimward-trailing quadrant of Canopus Sector, close to the border of Hanstone Sector.
- It has six member systems.
- It is named for Aleutia, a cold, moderate population water world.

Malorn Union[edit]
The three furthest rimward worlds of the Aleutia Run are members of the Malorn Union.
Commercial Data[edit]
The following commercial and economic data is available:

Security & Defense[edit]
The worlds of the Run are patrolled by the Malorn Union Navy. It defends Union territory, protects Union interests, suppresses piracy, and ensures interstellar trade and commerce.
- The Union Navy extends this protection to the neutral worlds of the Run.
- Union Navy vessels may demand customs inspections.
- There are Union Naval Bases at Lyovren and Melinduil, and additional Naval Bases in the non-aligned systems of Lyov and Wieland.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the worlds of the Run carrying huge amounts of goods and commodities to its varied markets. Jump-2 and Jump-3 feeder routes work their ways around the rifts and voids that dot the region, linking the Run to outlying worlds.
Solomani Security keeps a close eye on activities and events within the Run to ensure the security of the Confederation and the well-being of its loyal citizens. Almost anyone could be a SolSec informant, passing on all sorts of useful information: some gain a reward or benefit for their actions, others are coerced, but a few see it as an act of duty to help protect the Solomani state and its interests.
- SolSec actively competes against Malorn Union intelligence agencies.
Demographics[edit]
Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) reside within this area:
Humaniti (Human races)[edit]
- Solomani (Major Race): Widely spread across the region.
- Mixed or other heritage: Occasionally encountered across the region.
Non-Human Races[edit]
- Malorn Aslan (Major Race): Occasionally encountered across the region.
- Malorni of a currently unknown homeworld in Malorn Sector (Minor Race): A mysterious, physically tall humanoid race.
- Some believe the Malorni may actually be a Human Chimera.
- Valkyrie of an unknown homeworld (Minor Race): A parasitic species that "infect" other sophonts and take over their bodies.
- Suspected outbreaks have occurred in some of the Union's systems, though exact numbers remain unclear.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most commonly heard languages are:
- Native Malorni languages.
- Malorn Trokh, a dialect of the principal language of the Aslan Hierate
- Minor Aslan Languages: note that some Aslan Clans retain obscure or archaic languages for personal use in addition to Trokh.
- Rim Anglic, a dialect of Anglic and the principal language of the Solomani Confederation.

World Listing[edit]
Comprehensive Second Survey data for some of the worlds that are members of the Aleutia Run is available.
- The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map: if no data is provided for a world it cannot be listed.
- Other sources may differ: some elements of the data may be contradictory or incorrect.
- Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.
AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:
