Core Subsector is subsector G of Core Sector.

Description

The Core Subsector is defended by 1st Fleet.

Core, subsector G of Core, contains 42 worlds with an estimated combined population of 154 billion, a per capita income of Cr10,505, and a total economy of BCr1,617,830. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr26,549 through 38 starports (6 Class A, 21 Class B, 5 Class C, 6 Class D) employing 6,582,115 people. Driving this interstellar trade are six Agricultural (Ag) worlds, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, eight Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and three Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Core maintain 12 Scout bases, ten Naval bases, and two Way stations. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Knabbib (Core 2115) and Capital (Core 2118).

Core, subsector G of Core, contains 62 stars and 444 identified planets; 24 monostellar systems, 16 binary systems, two trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 33 of the 42 systems (78%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, two Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, seven Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Core has an estimated population of 154 billion distributed across six High population (Hi) worlds, seven Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 15 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Shudusham (Core 2214) and Capital (Core 2118). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.
