Ploiqu is a poor, non-agricultural and pre-industrial hellworld with a population struggling to survive in an inhospitable environment.

• It is a world working towards greater industrial capability, but currently lacks an adequate population to expand its industrial sector.

• This world was once known as Aggii Ganaan.

History & Background (Dossier)

This was one of the "Wayward Worlds", members of the Sylean Federation who chose to reject the offer of membership in the Third Imperium. Cleon Zhunastu accepted their decision, but as the Imperium grew, the Wayward Worlds became increasingly isolated and were forced to accept Imperial membership. Many of the Wayward Worlds retained their original names for many years before being renamed one-by-one in an attempt to shed the burden of their "traitorous" past. Aggii Ganaan became Ploiqu.

World Starport (Sp)

Ploiqu has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

Ploiqu has a population of 10,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
