Zirunkariish is one of the thirteen Imperial MegaCorporations in operation in 1116.

Zirunkariish is one of the largest insurance underwriters in the Imperium, and while its capital reserves are gigantic, it usually chooses to invest them in various trusts rather than in other megacorporations.

Governance & Organization

The megacorporation is organized into groups and then suborganized into teams. Some of the group are:

Private Client Group - this group provides services to the Imperial Family, other Noble families, and other families of high wealth holdings.
The Shiishuginsa family Team - not suprisingly the founding and majority owner family has their own Team.
The Imperial Family Team - not suprisingly the Imperial Family has their own Team; mainly composed of members of the Shiishuginsa family.
Central Bank Group - this group provides advisory and other services to various governmental banks throughout Charted Space.
The Imperium Team handles governmental bank clients within the Imperium.
The Extra-Imperial Team handles governmental bank clients outside the Imperium.
Precious Holdings Group - this group speculates in and provides services for storing, preserving, and disposing of precious metals, objects d'art, and other high value items.
The Sharurshid Team handles this Vilani megacorporation exclusively due to the volume of business.
Interface Group - this group provides internal services to the company relating to all non-client outward facing communications.
The Public Relations Team is the most well-known part of this group and is responsible for all press releases.
The Marketing Team is self explanatory.
The Corporate Reputation Team is responsible for ensuring the company's name and reputation remain in good standing, they are primarily a litigation organization.
Banking Group - this group provides all the banking services offered to the public.
Commercial Banking Group - this group provides all the banking services offered to commercial entities within the Imperium.
Megacorporations Services Group - this group provides services to megacorporation clients.
The Imperium Team handles megacorporation clients within the Imperium.
The Extra-Imperial Team handles megacorporation clients outside the Imperium.
The Holdings Team handles all megacorporations that Zirunkariish holds equity in.
Bonding Group - this group provides mercenary bonding services.
Corporate Services Group - this group provides unified and standardized services throughout Zirunkariish.

Unlike most other Vilani megacorporations, whose origins are shrouded in mystery, Zirunkariish is known to have been founded by the noble Vilani family of Shiishuginsa (a member of which, Antiama, married the emperor Zhakirov in 679) in the year -425.
