The Greater Delphi Cluster is a large cluster lying along the rimward edge of Delphi Sector.
- It is an astrographic feature and a trade route.
- It is also known as the Medsa Cluster or the Delphi Cluster.
- The entire Cluster may be referred to as the Rimward Hub.
Description / Specifications[edit]
Astrography[edit]
The Greater Delphi Cluster is a large cluster and major regional trade route chiefly lying in the spinward-rimward quadrant of Delphi Sector. It sits close to the border with Old Expanses Sector and sees significant trade from Massilia Sector, to spinward.
- It has 39 member worlds.
- It is named for its size and relative importance.

- The Imperial 81st, 128th, and 137th Fleets are active within the Cluster.
- Imperial vessels may demand customs inspections.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Delphi Sector receives much coreward-rimward interstellar traffic, but little spinward-trailing commerce due to the presence of the Delphi Rift. Even with this great barrier, much traffic flows in through the Rimward Hub region of the Cluster, a line of worlds leading to spinward-trailing along the rimward edge of the Rift.
High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Cluster, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
Demographics[edit]
Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) are found along this trade route:
- Humaniti (Human races)
- Mixed heritage (Major Race): widely spread across the main.
- Solomani (Major Race): many genetically distinct individuals and communities.
- Vilani (Major Race): many genetically distinct individuals and communities.

- Core Anglic, one of the principal dialects of one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
- Vilani, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
Timeline[edit]
Major events that have affected this trade route and the wider region that it lies within:
- circa -250,000: the Ancients are active within the sector.
- -9235: the Vilani discover jump drive technology. Over the centuries pioneers and settlers gradually spread across Charted Space.
- -5400 to -4015: the Vilani Consolidation Wars.
- -4045 to -2204: the Ziru Sirka claims and settles worlds across the region.
- -2404 to -2215: the Interstellar Wars.
- -2204 to -1776: the Rule of Man administers the worlds of the region.
- -1776 to 0: the Long Night.
- The Year 0: the Third Imperium is founded.
- 76 to 120: The Third Imperium wages the Pacification Campaigns to unify and assimilate the regions under its control.
- 300-420: the Imperial First Survey charts the Cluster.
