Gvadhoe Subsector is Subsector N of Windhorn Sector.

Description / Specifications

Gvadhoe Subsector is a region that has seen millennia of settlement by both humans and Vargr.

  • The resources of the subsector are being exploited.

Astrographic Features & Trade Routes

The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Gvadhoe Subsector:

Stellar Distribution

A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Gvadhoe Subsector.

  • The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
  • The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.

Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.

  • Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
  • Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.

Rifts and Voids

The subsector lies on the rimward edge of the Windhorn Rift.

  • The rift hinders travel and commerce within the region.
  • It has placed a boundary on settlement and expansion within the area.

The nature and limits of the rift may be determined by different criteria in different regions.

The Kanae-Figorurzaz Trade Run

The central worlds of the subsector lie on a small Main called the Kanae-Figorurzaz Trade Run. The Main has 28 member worlds.

  • Worlds lying on the Main are highlighted in green.
  • Kanae is marked in red.
  • Figorurzaz is marked in orange.

The Vilani Main

The subsector marks the coreward end of the Vilani Main, the mighty trade artery of the Ziru Sirka.

  • High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels moving along the Main, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.

Subsector Summary

Gvadhoe, subsector N of Windhorn, contains 33 worlds with an estimated combined population of 9 billion, a per capita income of Cr1,294, and a total economy of BCr12,279. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr102 through 25 starports (7 Class A, 4 Class B, 11 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 11,645 people. Driving this interstellar trade are six Agricultural (Ag) worlds, six Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Gvadhoe maintain 11 Corsair bases and seven Naval bases. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 4 and 9). The highest technology level is 14 at Akezaenae (Windhorn 1435).

Gvadhoe, subsector N of Windhorn, contains 52 stars and 388 identified planets; 16 monostellar systems, 15 binary systems, two trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 31 of the 33 systems (93%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, three Garden (Ga) worlds, three Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, four Poor (Po) worlds, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.

Gvadhoe has an estimated population of 9 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 20 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, six Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Gvokfizoeks (Windhorn 1638). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Ngath Confederation

The Ngath Confederation has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 9 billion, a per capita income of Cr1,294, and a total economy of BCr12,279. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr102 through 25 starports (7 Class A, 4 Class B, 11 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 11,645 people.
