This sector was designed by Ade Stewart between 2016 to 2017 CE.

  1. It does not yet appear in published products.

Fallow Sector is an unexplored region. The positions and types of its stars have been cataloged as part of the University of Tal Varisa Deep Sky Program.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Fallow Sector is an unpopulated and totally undeveloped wilderness. Starfaring sophonts are not known to have been active in the sector since the Dissident Fleet travelled through the region more than three millennia ago. No part of the sector can be reached by conventional jump-2 vessels travelling from the Distant Fringe proper.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Very limited information is available about the systems lying within Fallow Sector. Astronomical surveys conducted from within the Distant Fringe have accurately defined the positions and types of the stars that lie within its borders. Those surveys have also identified the presence of massive gas giant worlds orbitting them through their effects on their primaries.

Native Sophonts (NILs)[edit]

No native sophont species are known to exist within Fallow Sector. There are very probably NILs inhabiting a few of its many unnamed and unexplored systems.

Demographics[edit]

No information yet available.

Historical Eras[edit]

Major Historical Events[edit]

Some of the important historical events that have affected Fallow sector include:

  • 2255AD Fallow Sector officially named. It had previously been charted by long-range scans performed by vessels the Last Armada.
  • Although its exact route is unknown, the Dissident Fleet almost certainly travelled across the rimward part of Divide Sector some time after 2255AD following its split from the Last Armada and its departure from the Demon Cluster.
