Subsector F of Gateway Sector.

Among the most contentious of matters in this subsector is the political situation involving the Heptad Worlds of Windfleet.

Description[edit]

The subsector borders the Lesser Rift.

The independent worlds of Windfleet were once part of the Galian Trade League. Some, like Anderson and Havary, could be important trade links between sucessor states the Plavian League and Galian Federation, but disagreements over funding hamper this.

Summary[edit]

Windfleet, subsector F of Gateway, contains 20 worlds with an estimated combined population of 24 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,202, and a total economy of BCr100,942. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr191 through 18 starports (2 Class A, 2 Class B, 10 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 37,850 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and four Industrial (In) worlds. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 10). The highest technology level is 11 at Gateway (Gateway 1220), Tash (Gateway 1513), and Anderson (Gateway 1519).

Windfleet, subsector F of Gateway, contains 30 stars and 238 identified planets; ten monostellar systems, ten binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 17 of the 20 systems (85%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, one Poor (Po) world, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Windfleet has an estimated population of 24 billion distributed across four High population (Hi) worlds, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, ten Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, two Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Foriv (Gateway 1514), Vosrin (Gateway 1512), Windfleet (Gateway 1413), and Wolden (Gateway 1218). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Plavian League[edit]

The Plavian League has jurisdiction over nine worlds in the subsector, with an estimated combined population of 21 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,158, and a total economy of BCr88,596. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr95 through 8 starports (1 Class A, 0 Class B, 5 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 19,460 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and three Industrial (In) worlds. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 7 and 10). The highest technology level is 11 at Tash (Gateway 1513).

The Plavian League has an estimated population of 21 billion within the subsector, distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, two Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, one Low population (Lo) world, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Foriv (Gateway 1514), Vosrin (Gateway 1512), and Windfleet (Gateway 1413). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Non-Aligned, Human-dominated[edit]

There are seven Non-Aligned Human-dominated worlds in Windfleet with an estimated combined population of 702 million.

Galian Federation[edit]

The Galian Federation has jurisdiction over four worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 2 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,110, and a total economy of BCr10,292. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr94 through 4 starports (1 Class A, 1 Class B, 2 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 18,075 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 9 and 10). The highest technology level is 11 at Gateway (Gateway 1220).

The Galian Federation has an estimated population of 2 billion within the subsector, distributed across one High population (Hi) world, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, three Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, no Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Wolden (Gateway 1218). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
