History & Background

The Hochiken People's Assembly has designs on this world and the surrounding cluster, which is known as the Heptad. The worlds of the HPA are poor in natural resources and minerals, especially heavy elements. Control of the Heptad would solve many of the HPA's resource problems.

World Starport

Tash has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Heavy orbital and ground-based defenses include aerospace interceptors, heavy missile emplacements and orbital forts. These are not intended to defeat an attacker, but to free battle units to maneuver without being too closely tied to planetary defense. The assumed attacking force is HPA raiders.

Tash has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended.
