Subsector A of Dark Nebula Sector.

Description[edit]

Earle is a frontier area with a long history of Aslan and Human cohabitation. The two species continue to live together on nearly a third of the subsector worlds. A local Minor Race, the Ulane, also lives alongside them.

Summary[edit]

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Earle, subsector A of Dark Nebula, contains 29 worlds with an estimated combined population of 33 billion, a per capita income of Cr2,925, and a total economy of BCr98,912. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr80 through 23 starports (6 Class A, 4 Class B, 9 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 20,070 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, seven Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, five Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Earle maintain three Naval bases, three Military bases, and one Clan base. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 10). The highest technology level is 13 at Aohoikiy (Dark Nebula 0207) and Aleikhes (Dark Nebula 0710).

Earle, subsector A of Dark Nebula, contains 42 stars and 309 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, 11 binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 26 of the 29 systems (89%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, two Poor (Po) worlds, eight Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Earle has an estimated population of 33 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, six Moderate population (Ph) worlds, ten Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, ten Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Earle (Dark Nebula 0307). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups including one native sophont.

3 identified sophont populations in Earle

Aslan Hierate[edit]

The Aslan Hierate has jurisdiction over 19 worlds in the subsector, with an estimated combined population of 32 billion, a per capita income of Cr2,940, and a total economy of BCr94,401. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr49 through 15 starports (4 Class A, 1 Class B, 6 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 6,890 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Aslan Hierate maintain one Clan base within the subsector. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 11). The highest technology level is 13 at Aohoikiy (Dark Nebula 0207) and Aleikhes (Dark Nebula 0710).

The Aslan Hierate has an estimated population of 32 billion within the subsector, distributed across one High population (Hi) world, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, seven Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, six Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Earle (Dark Nebula 0307). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Union of Harmony[edit]

The Union of Harmony has jurisdiction over eight worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 1 billion, a per capita income of Cr2,647, and a total economy of BCr4,511. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr30 through 7 starports (2 Class A, 2 Class B, 3 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 13,180 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Union of Harmony maintain three Naval bases and three Military bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 10). The highest technology level is 12 at Usun (Dark Nebula 0503).

The Union of Harmony has an estimated population of 1 billion within the subsector, distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, two Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, three Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Nalale (Dark Nebula 0801), Usun (Dark Nebula 0503), and Elulor (Dark Nebula 0805). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Non-Aligned, Aslan-dominated[edit]

There are two Non-Aligned Aslan-dominated worlds in Earle with an estimated commbined population of less than 1 million.
