Although Oifalrouw is believed to have once been habitable, it has been locked in an ice age for several hundred thousand years and most of the world is covered with glacial sheets.

History and Background

Oifalrouw is governed by E'al Htoukha, a private military company controlled by the Hlaotiyoiho clan.

World Starport (St)

Oifalrouw has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Oifalrouw has population of 500 sophonts (hundreds).

• This is a Low Population World and the population would be too low to sustain itself without moderate outside assistance. Oifalrouw is governed by a Corporate Polity, having a single corporation with a typical corporate structure as a government. Essentially, this is a "company town" (or world). The typical corporate-run world usually has a single purpose. Examples include mining, agriculture, or other kinds of resource extraction. But rather than a simple base of operations, there are facilities for housing workers and their families, including hospitals, schools, and other infrastructure. How, or if, the children of the workers are incorporated into the workforce varies with companies. The corporation running the world may be a subsidiary of a larger interstellar corporation.

World Military

Clan Hlaotiyoiho maintains a large clan base just outside the starport. Several cruisers from the clan space forces are often found in orbit.

World Law (L)

Oifalrouw has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Personal concealable firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
