Ayoreldold is an agricultural, nonindustrial world still lacking adequate means to expand its economy.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

Stellar Data[edit]

Ayoreldold is described as being a binary star system.

  • The primary is a white main sequence.
  • The secondary is a red main sequence.
Ayoreldold has two stars in the star system.

System Data[edit]

Occasional references in outdated sector data files provide the only available information on this world, which is usually unnamed.

There is believed to be at least one gas giant within the system.

  • The huge gas planet has reputedly been the last known location of a number of starships.

Mainworld Data[edit]

The mainworld orbits within the primary star's Habitable Zone.

  • It lies within the zone's prime H region.
  • It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Ayoreldold is a Meso World between 12,000km and 13,500km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.8G and 1.1G. The horizon will appear about 5.1km away. Vessels with 1G of thrust should check with local starport authorities before attempting to land using emergency power.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Ayoreldold has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. While a Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

  • It experiences moderate temperatures.
  • The air contains a contaminant of biological origin that causes respiratory irritation.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

Ayoreldold has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.

Native Lifeforms[edit]

Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Comp-Prog-Dav-R-Deitrick-Starter-Trav-Page-16 16-July-2018a.jpg

Ayoreldold is a Forbidden World and is designated as a Red Zone. It presents serious risks and dangers due to the environment or native life forms, laws or customs, or other conditions that make it extremely dangerous to visitors.

  • Travel to this world is prohibited.

It is believed to contain fantastically advanced technological remnants of the now-vanished Ancients precursor race.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Ayoreldold does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.

World Population (P)[edit]

Ayoreldold has a population of 2,000,000 sophonts (millions).

  • This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
  • The origins and nature of the inhabitants is unknown.

Linguistic Topography[edit]

The languages spoken on the world are not known.

World Technology Level (T)[edit]

Ayoreldold possesses a Technology Level of TL–8.

  • Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics, improved telephones, and satellite communication and data networks.
  • Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Improved geothermal and improved batteries.
  • Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
    • Land: Advanced automobiles.
    • Water: Triphibians and early artificial gills.
    • Air: Improved helicopters and hypersonic jets.
    • Space: Space shuttles, early space stations, and improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).

World Government (G)[edit]

Ayoreldold has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.

World Law (L)[edit]

Ayoreldold has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Light assault weapons, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.

Imperial Landed Nobility[edit]

Despite (theoretically) being a world within Imperial territory and under Imperial control, no member of the Imperial Nobility has been – officially at least – appointed to it.

World Timeline[edit]

Later Historical Eras[edit]

To add to the confusion, some Regency-era star charts show a Calibration Point at nearby location Spinward Marches 2532, labeled "CP Ghost".
