WHULorigan Notes (2016)[edit]

Clarification:

  • Spinward Marches Campaign notes the following entry on p.27:
2632 X895674-8 Ag nln An R201 Im F3 V M0 D,
but there is no corresponding world located on the included hexgrid maps, nor is the name Ayoreldold noted in the Index.
  • MT: Imperial Encyclopedia lists the same UWP data entry as listed in SMC above on p.96.
  • TNE:Regency Sourcebook does NOT show a world at 2632 on the hexgrid map of Trin's Veil on p.51, and does NOT list either a name or UWP data in the accompanying data-block. It DOES list the name Ayoreldold for grid location 2632 in the index on p. 73, and has a reference to p.51:
Ayoreldold....... SM2632 (1202), 51
  • TNE:Regency Sourcebook DOES show a Calibration Point on p.51 named CP GHOST at hexgrid 2532, NOT 2531 or 2632.

Rancke Notes (2009)[edit]

This world does not appear in the the sector data for Spinward Marches, but does pop up in The Spinward Marches Campaign and again in the Imperial Encyclopedia. In no case is this world shown on any map, and it does not appear in subsequent sources until The Regency Sourcebook, where it is given the name "Ayoreldold." The origin of the world may be a data copy error from Corfu (world), which has the same UWP as the mystery planet.
There is no mention of a world in Spinward Marches 2602 in Regency Sourcebook. There is an UWP for one in SMC and in Imperial Encyclopedia, but in neither case is there a name. I don't know where "Ayoreldold" comes from, but AFAIK it is not canon. Rancke 21:39, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
The reference is actually Spinward Marches 2632 -- do I have it wrong somewhere? See the "Regency World Name Index" on page 73 of TRS. I think this might be the only place the name appears. To further muddle things, the map of Trin's Veil on page 51 has a Calibration Point at location 2531, labeled "CP Ghost."
My mistake. I meant to write 2632.
