Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Antares Subsector is defended by 157th Fleet.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Antares, subsector K of Antares, contains 36 worlds with an estimated combined population of 189 billion, a per capita income of Cr6,563, and a total economy of BCr1,240,486. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr3,112 through 24 starports (6 Class A, 7 Class B, 10 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 776,760 people. Driving this interstellar trade are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds, six Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, four Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Antares maintain six Scout bases, five Naval bases, and one Naval depot. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Ansenz (Antares 2425).

Antares, subsector K of Antares, contains 58 stars and 353 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, 16 binary systems, three trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 26 of the 36 systems (72%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, four Desert (De) worlds, five Garden (Ga) worlds, three Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, seven Poor (Po) worlds, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.

Antares has an estimated population of 189 billion distributed across four High population (Hi) worlds, five Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 15 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Antares (Antares 2421), Anuza (Antares 2229), and Ansenz (Antares 2425). The population consists primarily of 2 extant sophont groups. One native sophont is extinct.

Third Imperium, Domain of Antares[edit]

The Third Imperium, Domain of Antares -- including the League of Antares -- has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 189 billion, a per capita income of Cr6,563, and a total economy of BCr1,240,486. The governments in the Third Imperium, Domain of Antares maintain six Scout bases, five Naval bases, and one Naval depot within the subsector. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Ansenz (Antares 2425).
