The Kaski of Ansenz (Antares 2425) are an extinct Minor Non-Human Race with a non-humanoid appearance. Evidence of the Kaski being technologically sophisticated sophonts is common among their ruins.

Description (Specifications)

The Kaski were gliders resembling mammals. Their urban centres and places of worship were nestled in the valleys of their world where the air is denser. The abundant ruins they left behind are hardy, stone structures still in use by modern settlers.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Kaski independently reached a high Tech Level and had a spacefaring society that had settled several of the other planets and gas giant moons of their star system, leaving myriad ruins behind. It is unclear what caused their extinction; some suspect that they were exterminated by another species.
