Subsector F of Dark Nebula Sector. The eponymous Akhlare (Dark Nebula 1313) is the homeworld of the Ormine, a pseudo-reptilian Minor Race.
Description / Specifications[edit]
The coreward part of the subsector is largely controlled by the Gyj-nuah 'Oew, the Gerontocracy of Ormine.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Akhlare, subsector F of Dark Nebula, contains 27 worlds with an estimated combined population of 110 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,720, and a total economy of BCr409,293. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr49 through 21 starports (4 Class A, 7 Class B, 5 Class C, 5 Class D) employing 17,580 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, seven Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and four Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Akhlare maintain six Military bases and five Naval bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 10). The highest technology level is 14 at Nichekoralo (Dark Nebula 1512).
Akhlare, subsector F of Dark Nebula, contains 36 stars and 311 identified planets; 18 monostellar systems, nine binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 23 of the 27 systems (85%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, one Poor (Po) world, ten Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Akhlare has an estimated population of 110 billion distributed across four High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 13 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Akhlare (Dark Nebula 1313), Alaooh (Dark Nebula 1111), and Iopfen (Dark Nebula 1217). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Non-Aligned, Aslan-dominated[edit]
There are 14 Non-Aligned Aslan-dominated worlds in Akhlare with an estimated combined population of 59 billion.
Gerontocracy of Ormine[edit]
The Gerontocracy of Ormine has jurisdiction over 13 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 50 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,064, and a total economy of BCr257,895. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr41 through 9 starports (1 Class A, 4 Class B, 2 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 15,955 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in the Gerontocracy of Ormine maintain four Military bases and three Naval bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 10). The highest technology level is 14 at Nichekoralo (Dark Nebula 1512).
The Gerontocracy of Ormine has an estimated population of 50 billion within the subsector, distributed across one High population (Hi) world, one Moderate population (Ph) world, eight Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, three Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Akhlare (Dark Nebula 1313). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.
- The capital of the Gerontocracy of Ormine is Akhlare (Dark Nebula 1313).
