Aeghzisung is a non-agricultural, pre-industrial vacuum world, which warrants hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- Its economy and population are slowly growing and living conditions are expected to improve in the near future barring outside forces.
- It is a member of the Dzarrgh Federate in the Lighoz Subsector of Provence Sector.
- It orbits the secondary star.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Aeghzisung is a member of the Dzarrgh Run.
Stellar Data[edit]
Aeghzisung is a binary star system.
- The primary is turbulent white bright giant.
- The secondary is a red main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld, orbiting the system's secondary star. It orbits within the outer system, beyond the star's habitable zone.
- x5 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 gas giants.
- x2 planetoid belts (one around the giant primary star, one lying within the secondary star's habitable zone).
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Aeghzisung is a Small World between 2,400km and 4,000km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.1G and 0.17G. The horizon will appear about 2.5km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Aeghzisung has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Aeghzisung has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Aeghzisung orbits within the secondary star's outer system: a planetoid belt occupies the habitable zone. Vargr researchers theorize that the planetoid belt was once a spherical world, and that it was destroyed between -300,000 and -250,000, during the War of the Ancients. Evidence conclusively proving this has not yet been found.
- Small teams of Vargr researchers, funded by shadowy interests, operate from bases within the belt.
It is a member of the Dzarrgh Run, a small but important Main crossing between Tuglikki, Provence, Deneb, and Corridor Sectors.
- High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move among its systems, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.

- Worlds lying on the Run are highlighted in tan.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Aeghzisung has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- Vargr starports reflect the variety of Vargr architecture, with many disparate styles of building, each having their own unique ornamentation and gaudy colour scheme, and all competing for the attention of the onlooker. Emblems for the major shipping lines and port facilities abound.
World Population (P)[edit]
Aeghzisung has a population of 40,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
- The population entirely consists of Vargr.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Aeghzisung possesses a Technology Level of TL–12 or TL-C in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-3.
World Government (G)[edit]
Aeghzisung has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
World Law (L)[edit]
Aeghzisung has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms except shotguns, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 2 (ordinary)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: D (very abundant)
- Labor: 6 (millions)
- Infrastructure: C (very extensive)
- Efficiency: +1 (average)
World Culture[edit]
- Heterogenity: 6 (harmonious)
- Acceptance: 9 (friendly)
- Strangeness: 4 (somewhat distinct)
- Symbols: B (abstract)
World Timeline[edit]
Major events that have affected this world and the wider region that it lies within:
- ca -250,000: The Ancients were active within the region, transplanting the Vargr onto Lair.
- -9235: the Vilani discover jump technology. A few explorers and settlers begin to pioneer the region.
- -4045 to -2204: the Ziru Sirka claims a few rimward worlds and establishes a firm border. The Windhorn Rift and the absence of any significant Mains discourages large-scale Vilani expansion into the region.
- -3810: the Vargr discover jump technology and begin an era of expansion.
- -2400s: Vargr raiding into human-dominated areas significantly increases. This becomes known as the Vargr Pillaging.
- ca -1700: Vargr rimward expansion gradually ceases: the border between human and Vargr space stabilizes.
- -1776 to 0: the Long Night. There is widespread regression within the area and some worlds become barren.
- The Year 0: to rimward-trailing, the Third Imperium is founded.
- circa 26: the Empire of Varroerth is founded.
- early 100s: the Contract of Taarskoerzn is founded.
- 300-420: the Imperial First Survey charts the system.
- early 400s: the Irrgh Manifest is founded: it absorbs the Contract of Taarskoerzn.
- mid 500s: the Knokseng Confederation is founded.
- 869: the Glory of Taarskoerzn is founded. It splits the Irrgh Manifest.
- 995-1065: the Imperial Second Survey charts the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published. Information about the system becomes widely available.
- 1080s: the Knokseng Confederation is dissolved.
- 1090: the Dzarrgh Federate is formed.
