The Harmonious Group is a small cluster principally located in Neworld Sector.
- It is an astrographic feature and a minor trade route.
- It lies within Balkanized Space.

The Harmonious Group is a small cluster lying across the border between Hadji Sector and Neworld Sector. Its rimward systems have never been surveyed.
- It has seven member systems.
- It is named for Harmonius, a low population world with the best starport in the cluster.

The worlds of the Group are generally not patrolled, though the Solomani Navy conducts occasional sweeps through the region. It protects Confederation interests, suppresses piracy, and ensures interstellar trade and commerce.

High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the worlds of the Group carrying huge amounts of goods and commodities to its varied markets. Jump-2 and Jump-3 feeder routes work their ways around the rifts and voids that dot the region, linking the Trace to outlying worlds.
In the past Harmonius, the Group's namesake world was named Harmonious, but over time it has lost the final 'o' from its name. The Group retains the older spelling.
Solomani Security keeps a close eye on activities and events within the Group to ensure the security of the Confederation and the well-being of its loyal citizens. Almost anyone could be a SolSec informant, passing on all sorts of useful information: some gain a reward or benefit for their actions, others are coerced, but a few see it as an act of duty to help protect the Solomani state and its interests.

- -4678: the Hivers discover jump drive technology.
- -4045 to -2204: the Ziru Sirka controls vast territories.
- -2431: Terrans discover jump drive technology.
- -2404 to -2215: the Interstellar Wars. The young Terran Confederation battles against the ancient Vilani Ziru Sirka.
- -2204 to -1776: the Rule of Man administers the former Ziru Sirka.
- -1862 to -1110: the Terran Mercantile Community is active across the region.
- -1776 to 0: the Long Night.
