The mainworld and its gas giant primary orbit within the star's Habitable Zone.

Sitiefladr is a Small World between 2,400km and 4,000km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.1G and 0.17G. The horizon will appear about 2.5km away.

World Starport (St)

Sitiefladr has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

• The world is host to a major Military Base.

Sitiefladr has a population of 6,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).

World Technology Level (T)

Sitiefladr possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government (G)

Sitiefladr is governed by a Non-charismatic Dictatorship. This is a continuation of the charismatic dictatorship, where the original leadership has died or retired and been replaced by allies or protégés. The justifications for the original change in government remain as well as the assertion of rights to rule.

Specifically, Sitiefladr is ruled by whoever is in charge of the most powerful corporation at any given time. The current Chairman is Zdiai Tlotishdlezde, leader of Kashyaljofla Qreql. Like many of her predecessors, she has expansionist ideas (as Jdakrief, for instance, will attest).

World Law (L)

Sitiefladr has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A few worlds with this law level may be a Red Zone and others will be an Amber Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors). Civilian movement is rigidly controlled. Travel documents are frequently checked, and destinations must often be declared when traveling substantial distances across the world.

World Economy

Visiting merchants are treated well, so long as they restrict their activities to trading in safe districts. Sitiefladr has its own merchant starships, which can be found operating within a 20 parsec radius.

World Culture

The world lies within the Zhodani Shadow, a region strongly influenced by the society and culture of the Zhodani Consulate.

Historical Data

After the First Frontier War (589-604), elements of the Iadr Nsobl province wanted intelligence regarding the sectors to rimward. This led to explorations into various rimward sectors, particularly the Vanguard Reaches. In 626, a state called the Driantia Steblenzhtia (Colonnade Province) was established in the Vanguard Reaches to further these aims.

In 631, the Zhodani Consulate decided to set up another such state, further to spinward. In addition to the aims of the Driantia Steblenzhtia (Colonnade Province), this state (to be known as the Driantia Sitiefladr) would also be a buffer state to prevent expansion of the Talpaku Communality. The worlds of Sitiefladr and Friaprchivzho were colonized in 633, with the former to be the industrial heart and capital of the state and the latter the breadbasket. It was intended that the state would expand further into the subsector and then spinward/rimward into nearby parts of Tsadra, Shiants (Astron) and Chtedrdia (Fulani) sectors.

By the mid 600s, the Consulate had second thoughts. It was decided that the Izrats Kriezhlas Unity would be an excellent buffer state (at least for the short term), so the Driantia Sitiefladr project was abandoned. Resources were diverted from it to the Seventh Core Expedition (then in planning stages) and the two systems were left virtually alone, to expand as best they could.
