Bunkeria subsector is subsector I of Core Sector.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Prior to the Third Imperium, many of the systems in Bunkeria were part of the Interstellar Confederacy.
The Bunkeria Subsector is defended by 217th Fleet.
Astrographic Features & Trade Routes: 1105[edit]
The following astrographic features and trade routes can be found within this subsector:
Sylean Main[edit]
The Sylean Main extends into this subsector.
Of the 34 worlds in Bunkeria, only six are not members of the main. These isolated systems are located in the central-trailing part of the subsector.
At Sketola, the Laraa Main sub-region splits off from the rest of the main.
A basic chart of the Sylean Main is depicted, right:
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Bunkeria, subsector I of Core, contains 34 worlds with an estimated combined population of 15 billion, a per capita income of Cr7,241, and a total economy of BCr109,611. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr7,902 through 30 starports (5 Class A, 22 Class B, 1 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 1,298,365 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Bunkeria maintain 13 Naval bases, eight Scout bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 9 and 13). The highest technology level is 15 at Lalandra (Core 0821).
Bunkeria, subsector I of Core, contains 45 stars and 390 identified planets; 23 monostellar systems, 11 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 31 of the 34 systems (91%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, four Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, eight Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Bunkeria has an estimated population of 15 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 19 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, nine Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Dral (Core 0727) and Irlu (Core 0428). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Third Imperium[edit]
The Third Imperium has jurisdiction over all of the worlds, with an estimated combined population of 15 billion, a per capita income of Cr7,241, and a total economy of BCr109,611. The governments in the Third Imperium maintain 13 Naval bases, eight Scout bases, and one Way station within the subsector. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 9 and 13). The highest technology level is 15 at Lalandra (Core 0821).
The Third Imperium has an estimated population of 15 billion within the subsector, distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 19 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, nine Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Dral (Core 0727) and Irlu (Core 0428). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
- The Third Imperium subsector capital of Bunkeria is Sketola (Core 0622)

Major Historical Events Timeline: 1116[edit]
These are some of the more important historical events that have affected this subsector:
- -684: A politician from Sketola, Rom Debeshuut, unites the worlds of the Great Spiral into the Interstellar Confederacy. The primary goal is to restore interstellar trade and preserve the technology of the four or five systems that have achieved TL-12.
- -623: After expanding to 32 star systems, the Interstellar Confederacy abruptly stops accepting new members, believing that doing so will have a deleterious effect on their ability to retain the Tech Levels they have built to.
- -301: The Interstellar Confederacy first encounters scouts from the Sylean Federation.
- -260: The Interstellar Confederacy and the Sylean Federation go to war.
- -239: The Interstellar Confederacy suffers a civil war, as combined forces from multiple worlds attack the Capitol at Sketola. The Confederacy government withdraws to Keplo (Core 1322).
- -237: Loyalists retake Sketola.
