- Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes even hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants.
- This world would like to become a major industrial powerhouse in the subsector, but lacks the population and resources to build an adequate workforce and industrial business sector.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Bunkeria Subsector of Core Sector in the Domain of Sylea.
- This world was colonized by and is controlled from Ikarus.
Description (Planetology)[edit]
This world is part of the Sylean Main.
Stellar Data[edit]
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
One of the local gas giants has a colony of Domination in its upper atmosphere. How long they have been there is unclear, as is usually the case with this enigmatic species.
Prior to the Third Imperium, this world was a member of the Interstellar Confederacy.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Deseca has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Timeline[edit]
Significant events affecting this world and its surrounding region include the following:

- -623: After expanding to 32 star systems, the Interstellar Confederacy abruptly stops accepting new members, believing that doing so will have a deleterious effect on their ability to retain the Tech Levels they have built to.
- -301: The Interstellar Confederacy first encounters scouts from the Sylean Federation.
- -260: The Interstellar Confederacy and the Sylean Federation go to war.
- -239: The Interstellar Confederacy suffers a civil war, as combined forces from multiple worlds attack the Capitol at Sketola. The Confederacy government withdraws to Keplo (Core 1322).
- -237: Loyalists retake Sketola.
- -201: After intense battles, Velpare and Heraldia fall to the expanding Sylean Federation.
- -1: The exhausted forces of the remaining Confederacy worlds surrender to the Sylean Federation.
