• Its economy is rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to rapidly improve barring outside forces.
• It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Akkula Worlds Subsector of Ilelish Sector in the Domain of Ilelish.
• This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
• This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or over technology standards for Charted Space.
• This is a "Puzzle" world designated as an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.
• 100% of the population consists of Suerrat.

• It experiences libration - a regular wobble - as it orbits, causing the star to move in the sky.

Atte is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Atte has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Atte has 85-95% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few small continents, and a number of islands and archipelagos. Dry land is limited. Wilderness refueling is possible.

• The light side of the world is a small, arid continent that experiences high temperatures.
• The far dark side of the world is covered in an unstable floating crust of fractured ice.
• Temperate islands and archipelagos dot the twilight zone.

Atte is a Puzzle World and is designated as an Amber Zone. It presents particular risks and dangers due to the environment or native life forms, laws or customs, or other conditions that are not well understood.

• Visitors are advised to act with caution.

Llelish Interstellar, the leading media corporation within Ilelish Sector, maintains facilities and offices on the world.

World Starport (St)

Atte has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Population (P)

Atte has a population of 60,000,000,000 sophonts (tens of billions).

• High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
• Almost the entire population consists of Suerrat.

• Anglic: one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
• Na'ans: the most widely spoken Suerrat language.
• Vilani: one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
• Yaudal, a commonly spoken Suerrat language.

Urbanization

Suerrat cities are very crowded. Suerrat populations are at a density where other species find the mental health of the inhabitants deteriorates; by contrast, Suerrat thrive in these conditions.

• Suerrat like natural surroundings and will incorporate vegetation and even small animals into their urban areas, wherever possible.

The Suerrat United Worlds Council is funded through payments of all member worlds, calculated based on each world's population and economic wealth; it also receives voluntary donations from large organisations and businesses, both within and without the cultural zone.

Military

For peacekeeping purposes, the Suerrat United Worlds Council can request troops and vessels volunteered from member worlds to be deployed under its purview, but only within the boundaries of the Suerrat Cultural Region.

World Law (L)

Atte has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A few worlds with this law level may be a Red Zone and others will be an Amber Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors). Civilian movement is rigidly controlled. Travel documents are frequently checked, and destinations must often be declared when traveling substantial distances across the world.

• prior to -8100: a Suerrat pre-Jump multi-world civilization flourishes, centered on Ilelish.
• circa -8100: The Vilani make contact with the Suerrat and sell them jump technology.
• prior to -5400: the Suerrat have established a multi-world polity using jump drives. It would become one of the first targets of the Vilani Consolidation Wars.
• -4045 to -2204: the Ziru Sirka controls the world.
• -2404 to -2215: the Interstellar Wars.
• -2204 to -1776: the Rule of Man administers the worlds of the region.
