Ao-dai has an unbreathably thin atmosphere and very little surface water. The system has a population between 1 million and 10 million sophonts, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a member of Zhodani Consulate in the Jewell Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector and in the Province of Iadr Nsobl. In the Zhodani Consulate this world was named Ainzaia.
Astrography & Planetology[edit]
The mainworld is a moon orbiting Ao-dai Prime, a planet reduced to barren rock during the Ancients' war. As a result of the Ancient assault, most of Ao-dai Prime's atmosphere was blown off. A portion of this atmosphere was gathered by its moon, giving it a thin nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere and about 8% coverage of surface ice. The population lives in deep craters created by the asteroid bombardment.
It is located in the Riverland Cluster.
