Ultima, subsector A of the Solomani Rim, is the backwater of the sector, far from the major trade routes.
- The region suffered economically during the Long Night more than the rest of the sector, and its recovery is still not yet complete.
- This subsetor was once known as Darrukesh Subsector.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Ultima Subsector is defended by 295th Fleet.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Ultima, subsector A of Solomani Rim contains 22 worlds with an estimated population of 38 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,494, and a total economy is BCr212,307. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr10,778 through 21 starports (4 Class A, 8 Class B, 8 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 1,491,710 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, five Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and three Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Ultima maintain two Naval bases, and one Scout base. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Urud (Solomani Rim 0407).
Ultima, subsector A of Solomani Rim contains 33 stars and 236 identified planets; 12 monostellar systems, nine binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 15 of the 22 systems (68%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, five Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Ultima has an estimated population of 38 billion distributed across four High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, nine Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, three Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Azun (Solomani Rim 0809). The population consists of 3 sophont groups including one native sophont.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Ultima was originally colonized under the First Imperium around -4200; the original name was Darrukesh (Anglic: Darrukesh).
- Even after the Terran conquest the region still retains a couple of Vilani-majority worlds.
- During the Long Night the isolated worlds of Ultima were preyed upon by reavers and pirates from neighboring Magyar Sector.
- The region suffered the worst economic and technological collapse of the Solomani Rim and has yet to fully recover.
- In the Solomani era development continued to be neglected thanks to its sizable Vilani and nonhuman populations.
