Ilelish Interstellar Information.jpg

Ilelish Interstellar Information Interchange (generally referred to as "I4") is the premier communications and media provider within Verge Sector. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Llelish Interstellar, it has a similar structure and organization, but operates independently.

  • Despite operating almost exclusively in Verge Sector it uses Ilelish in its name, which helps distinguish it from its similarly-named parent organization. The name Ilelish, with its allusions to Imperial power, is believed to add a certain gravitas that Verge does not.
  • I4's style of jounalism is considered intrusive and sensationalist and is particularly focused on the High Nobility and Imperial court intrigue. This has frequently caused disagreements with the parent company in Ilelish Sector, as well as ongoing and often expensive legal issues.

Llelish Home, offering a full range of domestic services for the average Imperial citizen. In conjunction with smaller local suppliers it provides power, life support, sanitization services, and a variety of media to a designated domicile under a single convenient contract, available for a very reasonable monthly fee.

  • Allegations of "spying" on the activities of its customers have been raised.

The corporation was founded in the mid-600s, following the establishment of the Imperial Express Boat Network. It remained as a relatively small organization until the early 800s, when a change in management and a partnership with Hortalez et Cie transformed it into its modern form. It maintains offices at most Class A and Class B Starports and on many high population worlds within Ilelish Sector.

Company legend has it that "Llelish" was chosen as the name when the founder's infant daughter mispronounced it.

  • Various subsector and planetary news and media organizations. These are referred to as affiliates.
