Description (Portfolio)[edit]

I4 is an interstellar news agency. It was formerly a subsidiary of Llelish Interstellar Information Interchange but became entirely independent following a management buyout. Despite operating almost exclusively in Verge Sector it uses Ilelish in its name: Ilelish, with its allusions to the Domain and Imperial power, is believed to carry a certain gravitas that the name Verge does not.

While I4 is a trusted source of hard news, it's style of jounalism is considered intrusive and sensationalist, particularly with regard to the High Nobility and Imperial court intrigues.

  • This has caused disagreements with its various local affiliate companies, as well as ongoing and often expensive legal issues.

The corporation is a former subsidiary of Llelish Interstellar Information Interchange. It was founded in the early 800s, through the acquisition and amalgamation of a number of smaller media providers in Verge Sector, following the reorganization and expansion of LIII. In the 1050s a management buyout was negotiated and the company became entirely independent of its parent organization, though they continue to maintain a close working relationship. It maintains small offices at most Class A and Class B Starports, larger operations centers at Xboat hubs, and commercial facilities on many high population worlds within Verge Sector.
