Tournakh is a rich world.
- As a rich world, this planet has high-grade living conditions and is highly sought after by immigrating sophonts.
- This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- Some of the sources of this world's wealth are well known, but others remain a mystery. Many speculate on these mysterious sources of wealth. Some even investigate them... to no avail yet.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Miruu Subsector of Verge Sector in the Domain of Ilelish.
- This is a cold world with an overall climate that is at the lower temperature range of human-congruous sophont endurance.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Tournakh has a solitary primary star.
- It is a red main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x5 secondary rocky worlds.
- x4 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Tournakh orbits at the outer edge of the star's narrow habitable zone.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Tournakh is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Tournakh has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. A Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear and will likely be easy for most sophonts to breathe.
- It experiences low temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Tournakh has 25-35% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants will be recycled.
- The worlds seas are littered with icebergs and pack ice.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
During the Long Night, Tournakh was a member of the Old Verge Combine, a small polity claiming sovereignty over a number of worlds.
There is an ongoing power struggle between the leaders of Uranion, Kizull, and Tournakh. This has resulted in an ongoing low level rebellion on Uranion, characterised by violent oppression rather than any real fighting. Since the Tyrant of Uranion's paranoia and aggressive policing has been sweeping up off-worlders and treating them badly, the IISS has designated the world as an Amber Zone. The Sector Duke on Tripolis endorsed this action, hoping to keep the simmering trade war from spreading.
Ilelish Interstellar, the leading media corporation within Verge Sector, has offices and facilities on the world.
- It is known for its intrusive and sensationalist style of journalism.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Tournakh has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
The port is properly run and maintained, largely to fulfil a ship maintenance contract that is held with Uranion.
World Population (P)[edit]
Tournakh has a population of 30,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Tournakh possesses a Technology Level of TL–8.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics, improved telephones, and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Improved geothermal and improved batteries.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Advanced automobiles.
- Water: Triphibians and early artificial gills.
- Air: Improved helicopters and hypersonic jets.
- Space: Space shuttles, early space stations, and improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World Government (G)[edit]
Tournakh is governed by a Non-charismatic Dictatorship. A continuation of the charismatic dictatorship, where the original leadership has died or retired and replaced by allies or protégés. The reasons for the change in government remain as well as the assertion of rights to rule.
The current Leader of Tournakh is a relative of the Tyrant of Uranion.
World Law (L)[edit]
Tournakh has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All blade weapons and firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]
Tournakh, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of two members of the Imperial Nobility, who are charged with overseeing the world.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 0 (unimportant)

World Economy[edit]
- Resources: D (very abundant)
- Labor: 6 (millions)
- Infrastructure: 8 (generally available)
- Efficiency: -1 (average)
