During the Long Night, Noargan was a member of the Old Verge Combine, a small polity claiming sovereignty over a number of worlds.

Ilelish Interstellar, the leading media corporation within Verge Sector, has offices and facilities on the world.

• It is known for its intrusive and sensationalist style of journalism.

World Starport (St)

Noargan has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Noargan has a population of 10,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
