Astrographic Features & Trade Routes
The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Noung Subsector:
- The subsector is considered to be a standard stellar density region.
- The brightest star is the red bright giant primary of the Oho system.
Description (Specifications)
Stellar Distribution
A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Noung Subsector.
- The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
- The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.
(Chart sourced from Traveller Map).
Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.
- Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
- Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.
Data

Eleven non-aligned worlds and three polities meet in Noung Subsector where much interface trade (read: smuggling) occurs across borders between the Ruler of Five, Drr'lana Network and the Third Empire of Gashikan which retains its hatred of Vargr on its public face.
The Third Empire of Gashikan brings to bear little naval presence but houses four Scout Bases in Noung Subsector, each with the speed and range to report on Vargr incursions to the Naval Base just across the sector border, at Irgilakhii (Gashikan 0118). Additionally, Human and race-traitorous Vargr spies and forward observers are embedded in the non-aligned worlds to report on abnormal Vargr vessels passing through the systems.

Noung, subsector H of Gzaekfueg, contains 31 worlds with an estimated combined population of 2 billion, a per capita income of Cr586, and a total economy of BCr1,517. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr21 through 25 starports (2 Class A, 3 Class B, 15 Class C, 5 Class D) employing 2,290 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Noung maintain four Naval bases, four Corsair bases, and four Scout bases. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 3 and 10). The highest technology level is 12 at Ouaeghuerrou (Gzaekfueg 2818) and Oho (Gzaekfueg 3018).
Noung, subsector H of Gzaekfueg, contains 47 stars; 20 monostellar systems, eight binary systems, one trinary system, and two systems with four or more stars. 26 of the 31 systems (83%) have native gas giants. If there is one indication of peace between the Vargr and Humaniti of Gzaekfueg Sector, it would be exemplified in the four-world, stellar cluster nestled between the Ruler of Five to spinward and the Third Empire of Gashikan to trailing. Named the Zogodhaeth Cluster, these four worlds act as a buffer zone between the two warring states. Both Vargr and Humaniti walk the Starports with a wary eye toward each other while trying to make a profit in trading in the markets. While the racial hatreds are at the lowest simmer in the Sector, it is across this stellar cluster that an amazing amount of profit across the low Law Level and decentralized governments of the Cluster is made. Zogodhaeth Cluster features four types of worlds which complement each other so well that there are rumors that they will incorporate and become a new pocket empire between the Ruler of Five confederation and the Third Empire of Gashikan. In 1105, all that rules here is the aroma of commerce.
Agriculture, aquaculture, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, raw ores, rare earths pass from member worlds of the Zogodhaeth Cluster to be traded at the A-rated Ouaghuerrou Platform, an ocean Downport of surface and underwater structures supporting the facilities. From Ouaeghuerrou, Jump-2 capable starships deliver exports to either spinward Ruler of Five world of Uzouzllug (Gzaekfueg 2617) or trailing to watchful Oho (Gzaekfueg 3018). Vargr to the former conduct trade that enriches the Zogodhaeth Cluster while Humaniti does likewise, each large empire tolerating the proper faces on the Comms viewers. Thus the Cluster has become a buffer zone and interfacing archipelago rather than four battlegrounds.
