Woomera Subsector is a sparsely populated region in terms of stellar density.
- Other than official Imperial business such as X-boat communication routes, few travel to this backwater.
- A J-3 Jump Drive or greater is required to travel across most of the expanses.
- No jump bridges have been funded, although their rumors of Deep Space Fuel Caches in the void.
Description (Specifications)
The Woomera Subsector is defended by 77th Fleet.
Subsector Summary: 1105
Woomera, subsector E of Daibei contains 18 worlds with an estimated population of 6 billion, a per capita income of Cr9,104, and a total economy is BCr59,178. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1,249 through 15 starports (2 Class A, 7 Class B, 6 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 271,210 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Woomera maintain two Naval bases. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 9 and 14). The highest technology level is 15 at Shinnar (Daibei 0220).
Woomera, subsector E of Daibei contains 26 stars and 187 identified planets; 11 monostellar systems, six binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 16 of the 18 systems (88%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, four Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, no Poor (Po) worlds, nine Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Woomera has an estimated population of 6 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 13 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, three Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Woomera (Daibei 0114). The population consists of 1 sophont groups.
