It orbits within the outer system.

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Rocks is an Asterioid Belt or Planetoid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects. Asteroid Belt is used when the belt is the mainworld of a system. Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

None of the bodies within the Rocks belt retain an atmosphere.

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

No centrally held map of the belt exists within AAB Library Data records.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Comp-Prog-Dav-R-Deitrick-Starter-Trav-Page-16 16-July-2018a.jpg

Rocks is rumored to contain an archaeological site, believed to hold high-tech remnants of the now-vanished Ancients precursor race.

At the dawn of the Imperium this world had no permanent population. Facilities were being constructed and infrastructure was being emplaced, funded by speculators and investors in anticipation of large-scale settlement and commercial development and designed to give the world a predetermined basic Tech Level. There were often hundreds of personnel and specialists working or operating within the system, but they were not considered residents.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Rocks has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

World Population (P)[edit]

Rocks has a population of 30,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).

  • This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.

World Technology Level (T)[edit]

These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Personal concealable firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
