Subsector A of Gvurrdon Sector. It is dominated by three major governments -- the Zhodani Consulate, Thirz Empire, and Seaknouth Dependency -- each controlling roughly the same amount of worlds.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

There are two worlds in Ongvos where ruins of the Ancients have been found. This is the only subsector in Gvurrdon where more than one site has been discovered. This could mean that the sector's Ancient activity was focused here, but this is largely speculation given how rare Ancient sites are in general.

The Free Trader's Enterprise is an organised corsair group (in fact an alliance of two groups) operating in Ongvos.

The highest technology level is 13 at Gantsugh (Gvurrdon 0809).

Ongvos, subsector A of Gvurrdon, contains 30 stars and 219 identified planets; 16 monostellar systems, seven binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 14 of the 23 systems (60%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, two Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, six Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.

Ongvos has an estimated population of 90 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, one Moderate population (Ph) world, nine Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, eight Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Roeknughroe (Gvurrdon 0410). The population consists primarily of 4 sophont groups including one native sophont.
