The Marquis class Frigate is a escort warship.
- It is a military ship and a Frigate.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
It is a vessel with 2-G and J-5 performance with a partially streamlined close structure hull. They have on board fuel processing and fuel scoops. They are typically grouped with a fleet tanker for refueling and sustainment while underway. Weaker acceleration and speed for their as commerce escort role and this trade off made the class much less expensive to purchase and maintain. Their long range patrol capability is a valuable feature of the class.
- It carries heavy armor and a defensive suite, but can not power meson screens nor nuclear dampers.
- It ordinarily carries one Life Boats and an Air/Raft as subcraft and can carry drones.
- It has a 60 sophont crew which includes 30 marines.
