Partially Streamlined Hull
A Partially Streamlined Hull is a kind of ship structure, fuselage, chassis, or hull.
- It is a kind of Ship Equipment and a kind of Hull.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Partially Streamlined Hulls are designed to use less materials than a streamlined hull, but still use enough to decrease the need for gravitic control technology and to be able to enjoy a smoother wilderness refueling when that option is available. Unstreamlined hulls are violently buffeted within a gas giant when wilderness refueling. Partially streamlined hulls don't suffer the same level of violence when wilderness refueling.
Many formerly unstreamlined ships will add aerodynamic cowlings to enable easier wilderness refueling at gas giants. At such point, these ships go from being unstreamlined distributed structure vessels to partially streamlined vessels.
